The association is calling on all truck drivers to cooperate with the Regional Electronic Cargo Tracking System (RECTS) officers by providing necessary documents when requested to facilitate efficient cargo clearance and tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a public notice, LoDDCA emphasized the importance of verifying Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers to prevent fraud and ensure lawful compliance. Drivers are advised to confirm the authenticity of KRA officers by following a simple verification process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dial *572#<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the officer&#8217;s staff number or national ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive confirmation on whether the individual is an authorized KRA staff member<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>LoDDCA urged drivers to report any individuals who fail verification to the relevant authorities immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The association&#8217;s Chairman, Elijah (0724 830 563), reiterated the importance of staying vigilant while ensuring professional conduct in the transport sector.
